The Salesforce Business Technology (BT) team is looking for talented Engineers who will be instrumental in transforming how BT computing services are leveraged to support company growth. This role will involve driving strategy, architecture, roadmaps, and execution of projects that will enable Salesforce to continue as the model for cloud BT infrastructure services.

Role Description:

As a Software Engineer at Salesforce, you will be part of a dynamic global team delivering and supporting technology infrastructure to meet the growth needs of the business. You will be involved in projects that will optimize current services and work on building next generation cloud infrastructure and deliver automation frameworks and tools that help the customers in their journey for the global production environment.

The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for line of business support on complex Enterprise Application implementations. The Systems Engineer will be the primary technical and process expert in their service area and will work in collaboration with developers, business stakeholders, and other technology teams that impact their end to end business process area of expertise. Daily activities will include, but are not limited to, resolving technical and functional issues, performing trend analysis and identifying enhancements to reduce recurring requests, and collaborating with development teams to improve the design of new functionality. The successful candidate must be agile and be able to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:

  1. You will be responsible for developing, administering, managing, configuring and maintaining enterprise applications with Salesforce.
  2. Understand all aspects of Enterprise application configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to ongoing releases.
  3. You will be responsible for Development of Salesforce based applications, debugging code, implementation of monitoring systems and deploying to production.
  4. Maintain updated system documentation and Salesforce policies/procedures.
  5. Proactively monitor services to identify and resolve issues.
  6. Work with cross-functional teams to identify technology modifications that will impact business processes.
  7. Partner with various teams to implement new functionality via Agile based processes.
  8. Manages tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, driving all issues to resolution with a strong focus on stakeholder satisfaction and efficient task execution.
  9. Maintain and demonstrate 100% compliance with all written security policies, SOX procedures, and change management controls.

Required Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree - ideally in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS.
  2. 2+ years of Salesforce administration and development experience required.
  3. Experience developing on the Salesforce.com platform & API’s.
  4. Strong working knowledge of APEX (classes, triggers, and web services), VisualForce, Salesforce APIs, SOQL, LWC, Force.com platform.
  5. Experience working with AI/ML applications.
  6. Experience working with Slack and Integration.
  7. Experience in Agile and ability to estimate, design, build, unit test and deployment of Salesforce solution.
  8. Expert ability to write clear and concise technical documentations.
  9. Diagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution.
  10. Effectively communicate status and risk to the team and manager.
  11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to detail.
  13. Experience in delivering engineering applications using agile/scrum methodology.
  14. Experience using Source Control Management systems (ex. Git, Bitbucket).

Preferred Requirements:

  1. Certified Platform Developer I or equivalent experience.
  2. Certification in Force.com and/or Java would be an added advantage.
  3. Participate in product and feature design with technical staff members, business systems analyst and product managers.
