Role: Tech Lead Android Developer

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Twice a week in Sunnyvale, CA

Needs:

1. Last mile delivery
2. Glass app and Spark app
3. Interaction between the two, the customers chat with the driver and vice versa.
4. Oracle agent
5. Payment and order, and invoke a chat flow
6. One Android Mobile Engineer
7. Android Role - wants to close on this role Monday and Tuesday
8. 6-10 years of Android experience
9. Senior engineer Tech Lead, manage their project on their role, managing one or 2 engineers
10. Most of the time they will be working alone, most of the time will work on leadership capability
11. Finding resources they need on their own. Two behavioral requirements.
12. Work with IDC team
13. Super familiar with Kotlin - 2 years
14. Maintainable code
15. REST API

Minimum Education and Experience required:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience building scalable ecommerce applications or mobile software.

Minimum Skills required:

1. Experience with mobile software development using Java.
2. Experience using distributed source code version control systems (Git/Github).
3. Experience with the agile methodology Scrum.
4. Experience with development of mobile network clients using HTTP protocol, REST APIs and Google Cloud Messaging.
5. Experience with Google Play APIs: Maps, Location, and Cloud Messaging.
6. Experience with software debugging techniques (debuggers, loggers, crash report tools).
7. Experience with analysis of memory issues such as memory leaks using memory analyzer tools (DDMS, MAT).
8. Experience with embedded real-time systems with limited resources (memory and processing).
9. Experience with Android software development.
10. Experience in design patterns, MVC, data structures and algorithms.
11. Experience in unit and integration testing Android code.
12. Published Android application is required.
