Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment. You will be responsible for assembling components, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe working environment.
We are hiring for 1st (6A-2P) shift!
Key Responsibilities

• Assemble air compressor units according to technical specifications and engineering drawings.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete assembly tasks.
• Conduct quality inspections of assembled units to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues, collaborating with engineering and quality assurance teams as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
• Document assembly processes and complete necessary paperwork accurately.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly efficiency and quality.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a mechanical assembler or in a similar role, preferably in the air compressor or related industry.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 software; SAP experience preferred
