This includes roles such as Field Service Engineers and Technicians, who are expected to have a background in engineering and mechanical systems, as well as experience in industrial maintenance and a basic understanding of industrial control systems.Piercetek's goal is to enhance service success by increasing customer satisfaction, retention, and profitability through the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery at customer facilities.Job Summary: This position involves a dynamic and multifaceted role in the assembly, testing, and maintenance of Electro-Mechanical systems. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Assembly and Testing - Plan and execute various assembly tasks, focusing on Electro-Mechanical systems, and perform necessary testing and adjustments * Customer Support - Assist and guide customers with the installation, adjustment, and repair of equipment, provide telephone technical support to address and resolve customer inquiries * Training - Train both customer personnel and coworkers on proper equipment operation to ensure efficient and safe usage * Programming and Troubleshooting - Engage in fundamental control programming and troubleshooting of Electro-Mechanical systems * Safety and Standards Compliance - Follow all trade safety practices and procedures, adhering to Piercetek standards * Inspection - Inspect equipment installations to ensure compliance with company guidelines and tolerances * On-Site Service - Provide industrial equipment service at customer locations, including testing, troubleshooting, and adjustments as needed * Technical Support - Communicate with appropriate company employees about product issues to expedite problem resolution * Documentation - Complete all required customer and company records and documentation * Continuous Learning - Maintain technical competence and stay up to date on industry developmentsQualifications: * Independent thinker * Mechanical aptitude and basic mechanical systems * Mathematics background * Advanced Computer literacy (Programming, Data Analysis, Algorithms and Data Structures) * Know lease one computer language * Capability to recognize color-coded wiring and components * Willing to learn electrical control systems such as plc's and robot controllers * Willing to learn mechanical systems and drive components * Must have a valid US driver's license and a clean driving record * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds * Must be able to go up and down stairs, climb ladders, and lie on the floor * Must be able to travel across the United States, Canada, and Mexico * Willingness to Travel up to 85%Working Conditions: The working conditions are in a factory industrial environment which can range from hot summers cold winters, variety of shifts and adapt to changing work schedules. Reporting Structure: Reports to the Field Service Manager Location: Vineland NJ Base, Traveling 85-90%
