Position: New Product Development Quality Engineer
The successful New Product Development Quality Engineer will work within a matrix structure that supports the Design and Project Teams with New Product Development (NPD) and the Quality Team for In Market (IM) products and improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality tools for projects that include but are not limited to APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, DVPR, Quality and Control Plans.
- Drive the successful implementation and evolution of the quality tools and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Own, deliver, and maintain the Quality elements of the project RACI matrix deliverables during the project lifecycle.
- Understand and interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, tool trials, and instructions.
- Support, review, and conduct performance analysis on test results that detect issues and track root cause actions.
- Troubleshoot test defects in a timely fashion and suggest fixes and improvements.
- Participate in the supplier selection process and component specification reviews to ensure that purchased items meet specifications.

- Trained in engineering subjects.
- Qualifications in Quality subjects.
- Experience in NPD.
- Experience of working in a matrix structure.
- Exposure to quality and/or testing environments.
- Knowledge of electronics within manufacturing.
- Experience in developing and implementing APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, DVPR, Quality and Control Plans, performance analysis.
