About the team
The storage team owns everything related to customer data in the core Data Warehouse. From interfacing with storage infrastructure, to implementing our data loading experiences, they own this functionality front to back.
The team is distributed between our offices in Kirkland, WA and Tel Aviv, and works closely with our teams in all offices (Kirkland, Tel Aviv, Munich).
What you'll do
- Take a key position in our R&D team
- Take part in the definition of our product design and architecture
- Design, build and maintain our cutting-edge database core engine
- Develop highly distributed, multithreaded, low latency core engine
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience working with C++ on a production software.
- Fluency in modern C++ (C++11 and above, our codebase uses C++20).
- Experience building multi-threaded, high-performance systems.
- Experience with database internals and query processing.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with OS internals, memory management, file systems
- Familiar with cloud infra development

The pay range listed below reflects the base salary for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. As part of our compensation philosophy, the total compensation package is tailored to each candidate and influenced by factors such as job-related skills, level of experience, relevant certifications, and geographical location, to name a few. Please note that at this time we do not include bonuses as part of our compensation package. To ensure competitive compensation, we review employee compensation on a biannual basis and make adjustments accordingly.
