Luna Data Solutions has an immediate contract position opening (initial contract term approximately 6 months, with possible extension) for a Process Automation Developer resource. *This is a hybrid role in which this resource must work onsite TWO days/week.
Role: Process Automation Developer
Role Description:
This Power Automate Developer must have a strong, demonstratable background in automation and workflow development, with hands-on experience using Microsoft Power Automate, AI Builder and Power Apps.
This developer is tasked with developing new and help maintain existing process automation programs. These process automations are written in Microsoft Power Platform and includes technologies like Power Automate, AI Builder, Power Apps and other related technologies. This developer should possess prior experience with Dataverse and have utilized Connectors for Oracle and SQL Server databases, along with a solid understanding of how real-time and analytical systems can work together.
Key Activities/Responsibilities:
- The key duties include development, and maintenance and helping the client to set up, design, develop, and mature the process automation platform and capabilities at the client.
- This role involves analyzing requirements, developing automation software, and helping throughout the lifecycle, conducting unit testing, using and recommending best practices and producing documentation.
- The developer needs to have a big picture understanding on how the various components work together and should provide guidance on how it could integrate with other client processes and applications.
- In this role, the developer interprets project requirements and implements and maintains the components in Microsoft Power platform and other related technologies; works with business personnels to understand the requirements and determine optimal solutions; develops the process automation programs and provides afterhours support if needed.
- Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
- Performs additional duties as assigned; complies with all Agency, Division, and Branch rules, regulations, and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in application development and maintenance, computer system analysis and testing in the field of information technology.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft Power platform.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Power Automate RPA/DPA integration.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Digital documents and invoice processing in Power Automate with AI Builder.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Power App Custom application development with experience in Canvas and Model driven app.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Dataverse as storage, data modelling and management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Power Pages.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Power Fx Formula language.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Restful APIs.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, HTML, and JSON.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and other Azure Services.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Pre-built and custom Connectors, and Gateways to connect to data sources securely.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a project team environment, Agile Methodology.
- Experience with Power BI Integration.
- Power Platform Developer Certification.
