Job Description
WideNet is looking for someone to technical design and development of internal and external mobile web and mobile apps. Responsible for land- and remote-based mobile technical analysis, design, development, testing, and system implementation activities, in addition to ongoing mobile web and mobile app support. Additionally, this person will be on the development team working with internal and contract development resources and team members, and will be responsible for code development, code reviews, code management and tuning.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial or enterprise large scale mobile and web application architecture, design and implementation.
- 3+ years working experience with multiple native Operating Systems (iOS, Android, Windows Mobile).
- 3+ years design, development and implementation of mobile web and mobile apps for large scale, enterprise companies in a team environment.
- Experience leveraging Web Services and/or Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) in development of mobile web and mobile apps, specifically Java Messaging Service (JMS) and Apache Active MQ (AMQ).
- Expertise with Agile (SCRUM), Kanban and XP development practices.
- Prior experience in leading/mentoring execution focused mobile development teams.
- Experience with integrated testing/test driven development processes.
- Experience with continuous integration practices.
- Excellent documentation and knowledge transfer skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities.
