If so, we are looking for a DevOps engineer who is passionate about building scalable user experiences in frequent collaboration with architects and engineers. Our organization is proving out new ways of building by creating a next generation platform to support next generation applications. About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated DevOps engineer to help build a modern, cloud-native platform to enable a secure, reliable, reproducible and efficient application development process for Workday's Business Applications. Responsibilities include:

  1. Building, testing and maintaining infrastructure and tools that enable customers to develop best-in-class products
  2. Collaboration with multi-functional, distributed teams to define, develop and own new infrastructure features and functionalities
  3. Produce documentation, usage guides and runbooks
  4. Demonstrate understanding of continuous integration, automated testing, peer code reviews, continuous delivery and deployment as everyday workflow
  5. Contribute ideas for continually improving the team's efficiency, job enjoyment, and code quality
  6. Drive and support innovation and continuously deliver improvement ideas

About You

Basic Qualifications

  1. BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Math, or equivalent
  2. 5+ years of software engineering or DevOps experience
  3. 2+ years experience and knowledge of public cloud hyperscalers such as AWS, GCP or Azure
  4. 2+ years experience working with containers and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes

Additional Qualifications

  1. Experience in managing using Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, Cloudformation or similar
  2. Experience with at least one programming language such as Java, Go, Python.
  3. Experience and thought leadership in SDLC, CI/CD and deployment patterns
  4. Experience with GitOps tools and automation

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $118,400 USD - $177,600 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $112,500 USD - $204,000 USD
