Analyst/Programmer, Senior Data

Harris County is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support departmental programs, projects, and services. The position entails working with automated systems to consolidate, track, and analyze data, facilitating strategic decision-making and process improvements.

• Gather and analyze data using statistical tools and techniques
• Interpret data to identify patterns and trends and provide actionable insights
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design business intelligence solutions
• Monitor and evaluate performance using data mining techniques

• Act as a point of contact for data-related inquiries and troubleshooting

This role requires you to have:

• In-depth knowledge of SQL and managing stored procedures
• Experience with ETL tools like SSIS or Informatica
• Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau for KPI dashboards
• Understanding of statistical methods and software such as SAS or SPSS
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
