Control Design Engineer

The Controls Engineer position provides Electrical Engineering technical support. This includes designing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining plant electrical systems and equipment components; leading and supporting capital projects; assisting maintenance activities and projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field a MUST.
  • Two+ years of Electrical/Mechanical Experience working with Industrial electronics and/or machine control systems including PLC and HMI's.
  • Working with machine control systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Safely and effectively lift, carry, and move objects of varying weights.
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, standing, and walking, for extended periods and maintain the necessary physical dexterity and coordination.
  • Work in various environmental conditions, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, weather, and noise levels.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER achieves the requirements by deploying the following:

  • Designing, programming, testing, trouble shooting, & maintaining plant electrical.
  • Assisting Engineering team with maintenance.
  • Strong problem solving/troubleshooting practices.
  • Being a team player and working cross-functionally to achieve results.
  • Consistently evaluating processes - recommending changes when appropriate.
  • Developing a cadence throughout organization.
  • Initiating new, creative ideas.
  • Having a willingness to be flexible & adapting to new paths.
  • Communicating throughout organization.
  • Able to manage multiple projects.
