The Controls Engineer position provides Electrical Engineering technical support. This includes designing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining plant electrical systems and equipment components; leading and supporting capital projects; assisting maintenance activities and projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field a MUST.
- Two+ years of Electrical/Mechanical Experience working with Industrial electronics and/or machine control systems including PLC and HMI's.
- Working with machine control systems.
Physical Requirements:
- Safely and effectively lift, carry, and move objects of varying weights.
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, standing, and walking, for extended periods and maintain the necessary physical dexterity and coordination.
- Work in various environmental conditions, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, weather, and noise levels.
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER achieves the requirements by deploying the following:
- Designing, programming, testing, trouble shooting, & maintaining plant electrical.
- Assisting Engineering team with maintenance.
- Strong problem solving/troubleshooting practices.
- Being a team player and working cross-functionally to achieve results.
- Consistently evaluating processes - recommending changes when appropriate.
- Developing a cadence throughout organization.
- Initiating new, creative ideas.
- Having a willingness to be flexible & adapting to new paths.
- Communicating throughout organization.
- Able to manage multiple projects.
