Job Description
Candidate must be an experienced developer who is a self-starter with demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to produce well-written code. Candidate must be organized, thorough, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. Candidate must be able to successfully integrate with a team and focus on ensuring the team’s success. Candidate will have a can-do attitude and will place an emphasis on a practical approach to getting quality work done on time in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
- 8+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including C# and ASP.NET, VB6 (COM objects, Active reports)
- Nice to have including SSIS, SSRS, C++
- Good experience with front end UI design preferred
- Strong understanding of Agile design and development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support
Responsibilities
- Interpret business requirements and collaborate with the team to determine implementation details
- Perform coding and related software engineering tasks per project requirements
- Participate in Sprint Reviews and daily Scrum Meetings as a committed member of the team
- Create, document, and perform unit-test plans/scripts
- Participate in code and design reviews
- Investigate, analyze, and document reported issues
- Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces
