Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Electro-Mechanical TechnicianReports to: Maintenance ManagerHours: Monday – Friday 7:00 – 3:30Salary: $25-$35/hourKey Responsibilities:Inspect electrical wiring, panels, and components for issuesTroubleshoot electromechanical systems: laminators, slitters, ect.Troubleshoot motor drives, relays, contactors, transformers, circuit breakers, wiring, ect. with and without wiring diagrams/electrical schematicsPerform electromechanical repairs and adjustments on equipment including: motors, pumps, cranes, pneumatic and hydraulic motion systems, ect.Communicate with other employees regarding the status of different machinery and report problems/concerns to Maintenance ManagerPerform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of production equipment, including preventative maintenanceInstall and disassemble machineryFollow LOTO rules and shop safety proceduresJob Qualifications:Comfortable reading electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints/drawingsStrong mechanical aptitudeAbility to use hand and power toolsAbility to use a multimeterAbility to work unsupervisedAttention to detail and good organizational skillsMinimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of electrical systems in an industrial setting.Candidates must have their own basic hand tools.Ability to read, write and communicate in English.Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.Formal technical training at a secondary school, a technical school, or a community collegeWillingness to work overtime and on weekends as required to meet plant maintenance requirements.Able to lift, pull and push 50 pounds, walk, and stand for long periods of time, and work from a ladder.Perform work in a safe manner following all company safety policies and procedures.Prompt and regular attendance required.Benefits:401(K), Health insurance, Dental insurance, Vision insurance, Paid time off, Life insuranceSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, CM Access, TPGS, and MOUNTAIN, LTD., are leaders in delivering workforce solutions and integrated services across North America.
