Job Location: San Jose, CA
Title of Immediate Supervisor: Director of Quality
Position Description:
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes
· Lead root cause investigations and develop corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA)
· Create and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and inspection reports.
· Oversee BOM (Bill of Materials) process and collaborate with engineering and production teams to update BOMs as necessary for new designs or changes.
· Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to address quality issues and promote best practices.
· Assist in internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards and processes.
· Identify opportunities for process improvements in manufacturing and quality assurance practices.
· Monitor quality metrics and report on performance, recommending areas for enhancement.
Knowledge/Skills Preferences:
· BS/MS required, EE or ME preferred (or equivalent)
· 2+ years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance, preferably in the renewable energy sector or related industries.
· Highly analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving and critical analysis skills
· Strong Ability to Organize and Manage Documentation Effectively
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Must be a self-starter - a highly motivated person able to work in a fast-paced environment that is continually changing.
