Senior Geotechnical DAM Safety Engineer - DAM Projects
Overview: Our client, a leading US Tier 1 firm specializing in geotechnical, dam, and tunnel engineering, seeking a Senior Geotechnical DAM Safety Engineer to join their team. The firm is renowned for delivering complex engineering solutions in remote and challenging environments, with a track record of successful projects across the U.S. and in over 150 countries. Company has worked on huge projects including a $2 billion tunnel construction project for the Allegheny County Sanitary Authority (ALCOSAN) and special inspections for a major dam generating 60% of Seattle's annual power.
Role: As a Senior Geotechnical DAM Safety Engineer, you will play a key role in leading and managing a variety of DAM projects. You will work on innovative design solutions, oversee site investigations, and provide expert recommendations, all whilst leading and mentoring junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering.
- P.E. license required.
- 6+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, applicants from outside this range are also welcome
- Experience with DAM projects is required
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Location: Greensboro, NC - Or Within 1 hour radius, hybrid work available
