- Carries out research to find out the problems and develops solution for the same
- Looks after the maintenance of the equipment and infrastructure available at the site Helps in the installation process of new and advanced technologies interpreting the requirements specified by the research team and understanding the employee's requirements Tests machines that are already installed for their performance and safety
- Maintains reports of and hands them to the senior and concerned employees of the company
- May have to undertake many other responsibilities as they come
- Skilled at managing any kind of technical work at the field even with little supervision
- Ability to work in adverse setting and climatic conditions
- Sound ability to diagnose problems with existing equipment and fixing them is also essential for field engineers
- Ability to interpret technical issues through the non-technical description provided
- Ability to communicate fluently with the customers and should possess good customer service skills
- Should possess good logical skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site foremen,
- supervisors and fellow employees
- Must be able to work eight (8) to ten (10) hours per day, performing work outdoors in all types of weather, including extreme heat
- Job requires standing, kneeling, lifting up to sixty (60) pounds, pulling, squatting and walking. Maintain constant awareness of the jobsite's various concurrent activities, including the activities of other employees and contractors, the operation of stationary equipment, and the movement of mobile equipment.
