As a Digital Design Engineer, you’ll have responsibilities across a broad spectrum of developments and be given the opportunity to expand your skills. You’ll be responsible for the design of embedded digital hardware to include processors, FPGAs, SoCs, DDR, high speed IO, ADCs/DACs, and power supplies. Preferred candidates may also have experience with FPGA firmware or embedded Software. You’ll work across different disciplines to take projects from requirements and ideas to a reality. As part of a small team, flexibility and a broad skill set or curiosity to learn new skills is highly valued.
Basic Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer or Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3 or more Years experience in an embedded digital design field - Digital HW, FPGA Firmware (VHDL/Verilog), Embedded SW
- Schematic Capture (Orcad Preferred)
- PCB Layout
- Design verification test plan experience
- Hands on experience with basic lab equipment and new board bring up
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ Years experience and MS
- Experience with integrating RF hardware and lab testing
- High level Software design for testing and verification (Python, C++, Etc)
- Previous work experience in a product development environment focused on providing value to the customer
