Position Description:
As an Electrician II, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
Installing conduit, wire, and cable to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
Troubleshooting and repairing lighting systems.
Install and upgrade lighting systems to include Light Emitting Diode (LED) and LED retrofits.
Reading blueprints and schematics to wire accordingly.
Position Requirements:
This position requires the following skills and attributes:
California Certified General Electrician.
More than two years of commericl or industrial work experience as journeyman electrician.
Clean driving record.
Completion of apprenticeship or schooling related to the trade.
Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
Must be flexible with schedule and hours.
Extensive knowledge of electrical code.
Preferred:
The following skills and attributes are preferred:
LED upgrade and retrofit experience.
Knowledge of various lighting systems and fixture experience.
