Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a(n) Android Developer
Position type: Contract.
Duration: 6+ Months Contract (could potentially go longer depending on business need)
Location: Mountain View, CA (Hybrid)
The Ideal candidate will have Experience with Strong working knowledge of Kotlin, Android, Mapbox, MapLibre, Maps, Automotive/Electric Vehicle, API
As a(n) Android Developer you will:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in Android software development
- 3+ years of experience in application development with user interfaces
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Kotlin programming experience
- Git version control
- Code comprehension Ability to extract relevant information from reading code in one or more core languages and frameworks, including the ability to leverage the code as a resource to create work output for users or stakeholders.
- Data structures and algorithms Ability to select or design an algorithm and appropriate data structures to solve a problem or improve a product, framework, or the scale/speed/efficiency/reliability of a system.
- Debugging and bug-fixing Ability to debug, triage, and fix program code or technical issues (e.g., hardware, software, application, operational, process) by locating, mitigating the impact, and fixing errors.
- This includes the ability to conduct root-cause analysis, isolate the source of the problem, and resolve the bugs.
- Programming for SWE Knowledge of programming languages.
- This includes programming practices, major features and capabilities, and system management tools.
Desired
- Experience in the Automotive industry. E.g. Headunit and Infotainment software development
- Experience in on-device API development
- Experience in building maps application using Mapbox SDK or MapLibre SDK

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Rate* - USD $75 to $80 per hour.
- Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
