Design Engineer

Lumicity is partnered with a contract manufacturing company in New Jersey that is working on a wide range of projects in the medical, aerospace, and defense industries.

The ideal candidate possesses both a high level of technical expertise and ability to work hands-on. You will play a critical role in creating and refining product designs to assure everything aligns with project goals.

Responsibilities

• Execute, provide guidance, and collaborate with internal and external team on the design, analysis, and evaluation of projects.
• Application of finite element analysis to a real-world situation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate production process and evaluate potential changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in either Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field
• At least 2 years' of engineering experience
• General knowledge of manufacturing methods and metal part fabrication techniques
• Regulated industry experience (AS9100 or ISO 9001) preferred

**Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder**
