Our client is a technology and clinical service solutions provider based in MA looking to hire a Layer 3 Campus / SD-WAN Network Engineer. This individual will design, implement, and manage SD-WAN and network-edge solutions to ensure high performance and security. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. This role requires 3 days per week onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain dynamic routing protocols to optimize network performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SD-WAN solutions with on-premises infrastructure
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex network issues
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for standardized network procedures
• Provide recommendations for system improvements and optimizations
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in networking technologies
• Participate in on-call support rotation and respond to network emergencies as needed

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on SD-WAN and Layer 3 dynamic routing protocols
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with architecting and deploying SD-WAN solutions from leading vendors
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP
• Familiarity with network security concepts and technologies, including VPNs, firewalls, and access control
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, ACSDX, AWS advanced networking specialist, or equivalent are preferred
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, NetFlow)
