Selectek has an immediate need for an Automation Controls Engineer near the metro Birmingham area.Will consider out of state candidates that are local to the southeast and accessible to a major airport.Responsibilities:Set up and configuration of servo drives, VFD’s.Programming Siemens, Allen Bradely PLC’s, and HMI’s (from scratch programming and program development) – Rslogix, factory talk, studio 5000New equipment and equipment modifications, provide design/specification/start-up/commissioning for the controls portion of the project.Existing equipment, provide troubleshooting of electrical and electronic controls problems or breakdowns.Engineer and specify correct hardware and software needed for automation projects50-75% Travel.
