Senior Controls Engineer
Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000
Are you a seasoned Controls & Automation Engineer looking to make an impact in a dynamic and professional environment? We are seeking a Corporate Controls Engineer to join our team and drive innovation across our manufacturing facilities.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Develop & Commission: Design, install, and commission plant controls and automation systems, focusing on PLC programming, HMI development, and MES data collection.
- Technical Support: Provide expert technical support for controls and automation activities, utilizing our HELP Desk system.
- Design & Specification: Create and enforce process control standards, including control system architecture, control panels, and communication protocols.
- Collaboration: Partner with and direct third-party controls engineering partners to ensure project success.
Here’s what our ideal candidate has:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Controls & Automation Engineering, ideally within the Food & Beverage or Consumer Goods industry.
- Expertise in HMI development, especially within Wonderware (Aveva) Archestra System Platform, including graphic creation, tag setup, and more.
- Experience with Wonderware MES or similar MES platforms.
- Familiarity with designing and specifying process control panels.
- Strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and an excellent computer skills set (MS Office).
