Job Title: Backend Python Architect
Location: Cambridge, MA (onsite 5 days a week, non-negotiable, this is a startup environment and we are looking for someone committed to having a large impact on the firm and product)

Job Role: We are seeking a Lead Backend Python Developer / Architect to take our innovative software solution to the next stage. This role requires experience in creating and maintaining scalable system architectures with a focus on delivering high-quality performance. You will lead the development of our product with Python and Terraform.
As a vital part of our team, you will have the opportunity to make significant contributions to our product and influence the product's future direction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the backend development of our products using Python and Terraform.
- Architect, design, and implement efficient and reusable systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to establish objectives and design cohesive, functional script.
- Test, debug, and improve the performance of the product.
- Regularly review code, troubleshoot, and fix bugs to ensure the product is always running smoothly.
- Provide mentorship to other backend developers within the team.
Qualifications:
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a senior/lead backend developer.
- Strong skills and experience in Python and Terraform.
- Solid experience with software development lifecycle processes.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms and system architecture.
- Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment (onsite in Cambridge, MA)
