Appian Developer

Role Objectives:

· Develop new applications and application enhancements in Appian

· Provide maintenance/ support of the existing system

· Code using best practices and ensure minimal maintenance is required.

· Work with project managers, business analysts and development lead to help daily development and enhancement activities.

· Effectively communicate with team members to resolve issues.

· 4+ years of overall development experience with a focus on web application development.

· Strong C# .NET, Python, or Java Development experience

· Appian Development experience in enterprise firm.

o Financial services experience is a plus.

o BPM and Workflow Development experience preferred.

· Knowledge of Appian development, UI design, defining custom data types, process design

· Knowledge of web application architecture/design fundamentals

· Strong SDLC knowledge

· Ability to test applications with limited help from QA team

· Any prior experience with Appian Admin console, administration of application servers would be helpful

· Familiarity with Appian Integrations, Appian Plug-Ins

· SQL experience

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· BS in Computer Science, MS in Computer Science is a plus
