Our culture embraces the diversity of team members spread all across the globe.As An Active Member Of This Team, You WillDevelop software for projects and features with an emphasis on backend systems and APIs responsible for ingesting, processing, and routing dataDesign, develop, test, and maintain clear, concise, and robust code that produces the desired outcomes for our customersPartner with a cross functional team of engineers, designers, and product managers to translate feature specifications into product designs and implementable codeEnsure product features are working as expected by creating rich test plans paired with comprehensive automated testsMentor and coach junior engineers on the design and implementation of their codeHave end-to-end ownership of the software you develop, regularly participating in your team\'s on-call/support rotationBe a driver, take the initiative to help the larger team reach desired outcomes even if it\'s outside your job descriptionIf You\'ve got it - We Want itDemonstrated experience building products that leverage large scale data sets (Node.js/Typescript)Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systemsEnjoy learning new technologies and ability to understand how to root cause complex problemsExperience with using and developing REST APIsExperience with Agile processes and rapid iterative developmentStrong sense of ownership with focus on high quality and high performing deliverablesExperience developing services for cloud based platformsPreferred QualificationsMaster\'s degree in Computer Science or similar fieldPrior experience working on data intensive applications and/or data streams processingExperience using Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCPOpen source contributionNo fear! The salary offered within the range described will be based on the individual candidate\'s job-related kno ledge, skills, and experience.
