PAY RATE : 36.00 – 40.00/hr. with benefits

JOB SUMMARY FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:


  • We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team, contributing to daily engineering tasks such as maintaining engineering drawings, creating prototypes, improving and validating manufacturing processes, and providing ongoing support to quality and operations teams. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, analytical thinking, and strong problem-solving abilities to enhance our manufacturing operations.



RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:


  • Maintain daily engineering drawings and update accordingly.
  • Create prototypes and oversee 3D printing processes.
  • Improve and validate manufacturing processes to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Provide daily support to quality and operations teams to address technical challenges and validate new processes.
  • 30% of the time spent in the office on tasks such as PCN (Process Change Notices), testing reports, prototype design, and analyzing manufacturing processes.
  • 70% of the time spent on the shop floor and lab, troubleshooting manufacturing processes and validating prototypes.
  • Daily collaboration with quality and production engineering teams to validate new processes and manage PCN.
  • Ongoing support to operations for process improvements and validations.
  • The role involves both office work and time on the shop floor, providing a dynamic balance of hands-on and analytical tasks.



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:


  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing or related field.



SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:


  • Strong creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team player with a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
  • Ability to create sketches, engineering drawings, and perform common computations.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
  • Experience with engineering software, particularly Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
  • Critical thinking and the ability to leverage innovative ideas to improve processes.
  • Strong teamwork capabilities, with attention to detail.
