Senior Software Engineer

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Software Engineer to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Building software and web development.
2. Driving software design, development, integration, configuration management, transition planning, acceptance testing, and deployment activities.
3. Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, DevOps.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Experience with Web Development.
2. Experience with Cloud-based technologies (familiarity with AWS service offerings).
3. Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline.
4. Experience with designing and documenting microservice-based architectures.
5. Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
6. Experience with distributed systems (services and databases).
7. Experience with developing/debugging and/or testing of web applications and web services.
8. Experience with Test, Verification, and Deployment.
9. B.S. in a technical field with 5+ years of software engineering experience OR Master's Degree in a technical field with 3+ years of systems engineering experience.

Security Clearance Requirements:

An active and current TS/SCI w/ poly is required.

Physical Requirements:

1. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
2. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
3. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
4. The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
