As a Senior Manager of Software Development, you'll be responsible for the management of a team of software professionals who deliver customer-facing and back office software solutions. In addition, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of software development teams in all facets of hiring, performance management, and growth opportunities.

1. Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
2. Manage a development team that operates cross-functionally with product, operations, and testing teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of code.
3. Provide team support and direction on shifting priorities for new and existing projects as well as enterprise initiatives.
4. Organize and delegate work as needed.
5. Implement software proposals and estimate the scope of work.
6. Plan for and align resources for the completion of work.
7. Work closely with cross-functional teams on resource allocation, budget implications, and timeline considerations.
8. Act as an escalation point for internal partners to assist in resolving roadblocks and mitigating risks to ensure successful on-time software product delivery.
9. Ensure adequate documentation is created.
10. Provide input to management regarding technical issues, strategic planning of projects, system operations, and new software development and deployment.
11. Develop a collaborative culture that embodies both industry best practices and Charter values.
12. Experiment with new technologies to ensure we can scale for the future.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Agile software development experience including leading Agile teams, familiarity with Agile ceremonies.
2. Previous data analytics software experience.
3. Knowledge of WiFi and Wireless technologies, architectures, and standards.
4. Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.
5. Understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD) and an automated testing mindset.
6. Strong familiarity with software architecture patterns and their application.
