Job Title: Structural Designer / Structural Drafter / AVEVA Designer / AutoCAD Drafter/Designer

Location: Bakersfield, CA (Remote) 100%

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Structural Designer or Drafter with a focus on pipeline and utility design, as well as petrochemical facilities. This is a permanent position with a competitive pay rate of $75 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and draft structural components for pipeline and utility systems using AVEVA, Plant 3D, and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure design accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Participate in meetings (preferably in-person) to discuss project requirements and updates.
• Develop and maintain design documentation and drawings.

Qualifications:

• 6 to 15 years of relevant experience in structural design, drafting, or engineering.
• Proficiency in AVEVA, Plant 3D, AutoCAD, and modeling software.
• Experience in pipeline design and utility design, specifically for petrochemical facilities.
• A background in civil or mechanical engineering is preferred.
• Candidates with previous experience designing pipeline projects for oil will be given priority.

• Local talent is preferred for this remote position, as occasional in-person meetings will be required.
• Candidates must be able to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
