CNC Operator

Advantage Technical is seeking a Machine Operator for our client onsite in Norton, MA! their 1st shift. JOB TITLE: CNC Operator

REPORTING STRUCTURE : Reports to Operations 1st Shift Supervisor

EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Direct Hire.

GRADE/SALARY: $25 /hour (depending on experience)

CNC Operator (1st shift)

Operate surface grinding machine, automated inspection system, all equipment serving the graphite mold cleaning and DAG coating cycle

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use HAAS CNC machine to run grinding cycle, load and unload graphite molds
• Feed Keyence Automatic Inspection machine to grade molds, separate them for the grinding queue
• Change HAAS set up for different mold work holding fixture
• Provide support as needed to move molds from De-Mold through to DAG Robot
• Perform as reliable member of the Mold Maintenance Team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Mechanically inclined
• Able to organize time, retain work instructions
• Basic computer skills
• Able to communicate effectively and with integrity
• Strong desire for learning and education

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Lift 50 pounds max
• Stand for extended periods of time
• Visually inspect for small defects to provided standards
