Job Description
Insight Global is looking for Mechanical Design Engineers (Rotors) to join their Turbine Module Design Liaison Engineering team. This position is onsite in Greenville, SC. The daily responsibilities include changing tolerances within drawings to reduce defects for gas turbine rotors, and dispositioning any nonconformances. The engineer will be the point person between vendors, customers, and internal team members to manage the manufacturing quality of different products. The engineer will need to pay close attention to detail to address nonconformances such as: component variations, assembly issues, reliability, and bill of materials. The engineer must have experience in an engineering role that focuses on manufacturing deviations and nonconformances, and exposure to CAD software such as NX Unigraphics, Solidworks, AutoCAD, or similar software. Background with a PLM (product lifecycle management) system is helpful and ANSYS experience is highly preferred.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
Experience with CAD Software (NX Unigraphics, Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc)
Exposure to working with manufacturing deviations, nonconformances, and design changes
Familiar with Ansys, PLM and MS Office Suite Gas turbine rotor design and analysis experience null
