We are looking for someone to be a part of the development team for one of our clients, focusing on creating and maintaining low-latency, high-performance applications for market order execution. You'll work on a variety of asset classes and handle projects from inception through deployment and support.
You will develop and maintain systems for order execution across various markets, manage the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, deployment, and support. You'll enhance existing systems, develop new functionality, and have the opportunity to perform exchange certification, regression testing, and handle deployment.

Responsibilities:
- Java, Oracle, and Microservices skills, implement features, fix bugs and participate in support investigations, collaborate closely with product management, QA and other development team members.
- Learn and implement best practices in coding and design, and keep up on the latest developments with Java, J2EE/Java EE and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS and React.
- Participate in code and design reviews, scrum-style team meetings and retrospectives.
- Contribute your ideas to continually improving our applications and processes.
- Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of cloud-based production systems.
- Participate in automating cloud-native technologies, deploying applications, and provisioning infrastructure.
- Perform Proof-of-Concept to establish design patterns.
- Develop front-end and backend applications architecture and knowledge of web application servers like Tomcat, Jetty, JBoss.
- End to End development, unit testing, deployment and post-deployment support for deliverables.
- DevOps practices and CI/CD model of development.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Software Developer or in any occupation in which experience was gained in software development.
- Experience on Core Java, Microservices, REST, Test Driven Design, Oracle, GIT, JUnit, Jenkins, MQ, KAFKA.
- Full stack Java developer with excellent Object Oriented design skills, JavaEE, messaging and database development.
- Front-end GUI skill sets to work on all aspects of multiple web-based and machine-to-machine API based applications.
- Passionate about software development with Java / JAVA J2EE/ React Js / REST and SOAP web services using Java.
- Knowledge of relational databases like Oracle / DB2 and SQL.
- Ability to debug and support the application maintenance.
- The right to work without needing visa sponsorship.
