Job Summary

As a Full Stack Developer at Cano Health, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end aspects of our web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, propose solutions, and deliver high-quality software products. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from conceptualization to implementation, while utilizing cutting-edge technologies.

Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Lead the end-to-end development of scalable, high-performance web applications using the Microsoft technology stack, including ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server.
  2. Architecture and Design: Take a lead role in designing and implementing robust and maintainable software architectures for both front-end and back-end components, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  3. Front-end Technologies: Develop and enhance user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience.
  4. Back-end Development: Architect and implement efficient server-side logic and APIs using ASP.NET Core, optimizing for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  5. Database Management: Design and manage relational databases, ensuring data integrity, efficient query performance, and effective use of database technologies such as SQL Server.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions within specified timelines.
  7. Code Review and Mentoring: Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices, coding standards, and quality standards are met. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  8. Problem-solving: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, optimize code, and provide innovative solutions to meet project requirements.
  9. Adoption of Best Practices: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Implement and advocate for the adoption of new technologies and methodologies that improve the development process.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Education & Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in full stack .NET development.
  3. Proficiency in ASP.NET (MVC), C#, SQL Server, and front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue.js).

Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies

  1. Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  2. Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  4. Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams.
  5. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  6. Continuous learner with a passion for staying current with industry trends.

Job Requirements

Physical Requirements

This position works under usual office conditions. The employee is required to work at a personal computer as well as be on the phone for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand, sit, walk and occasionally climb. The incumbent must be able to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed. Physical demands include ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
