Assistant Mechanical Engineer

THIS POSITION
We are looking for an Assistant Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team! As an Assistant Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting senior engineers in the preparation of construction documents and assisting in the design and planning of infrastructure projects. You will also be involved in preparing reports, documentation, presentations, and other deliverables for internal and external stakeholders.
To be considered, you should have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, as well as some relevant work experience. You should also have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively. You should be familiar with the latest tools and technologies and be willing to learn new skills and adapt to changing requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist senior engineers in the design and planning of infrastructure projects
• Conduct research and gather relevant information for project planning and design
• Prepare construction documents including drawings and specifications
• Verify that deliverables satisfy scope and technical requirements
• Assist in project management and coordination with clients and contractors
• Communicate with clients and agencies
• Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design and safety standards
• Work with a high degree of problem solving and critical thinking with little supervision
• Perform other related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 1-2 years of industry experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and other relevant software such as MicroStation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

LOCATION

• This position is located in our Henderson office and requires off-site meetings or job site visits
