Interior Designer | Austin, TX
This is an exciting opportunity for an Interior Designer with Hospitality Interiors experience to join a creative and talented team of designers in Austin, TX. Our client is driven by passion, integrity, and excellence and is looking to grow their team with designers who feel the same.
The Interior Designer will report directly to the Senior Interior Designer while working closely with the construction and purchasing departments. In this role, you will play a vital role in the design process, producing construction drawings, FF&E specifications, and digital presentations for all project phases. The Interior Designer manages project priorities and deliverables based on department schedules and ensures all project milestones are fulfilled on time and budget. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or relevant work experience
- 4-5+ years of experience in hospitality interior design
- Specification writing for commercial projects
- Revit experience; 3D Rendering experience preferred
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) required
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) required
- Ability to take initiative and work efficiently, self-motivated problem solver with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both internally and with outside consultants and vendors
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Travel required as necessary
