Position : SW Automation Engineer Co-op
Duration : 4 or 8 months

Location : Hybrid Dallas Texas
Education Recommendations:
Preference over a candidate with at least junior standing towards their bachelor's degree in any of the following programs: artificial intelligence, telecommunication, computer science, computer engineering, or information systems from an accredited college or university in the US.
As part of the team, you will:
- Learn about new NOKIA Network Automation products.
- Contribute to experimenting in Network automation Lab with new Automation Workflows and close-loop automation use cases.
- Analyze the results of the experiments comparing those to the current customer process.
- Provide analysis results and propose improvements to be applied to the automation workflow.
You have:
- Familiarity with SW programming for Software Defined Networks and data analytics.
- General knowledge in Telecommunication with preferred study in Optics DWDM networks and IP Routing.
- Understanding of NETCONF/YANG model.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Understanding of Mistral workflows or similar.
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
