Job Title: FPGA EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an FPGA engineer to support work in the defense and aerospace industry. The FPGA/digital engineer will design and develop custom high-speed digital signal-processing cards and firmware for next-generation precision tracking radars and radar cross-section (RCS) measurement systems. The work will require onsite presence in Columbus, OH.ResponsibilitiesCapture design requirements.Design and develop digital subsystems.Perform VHDL/Verilog firmware development.Collaborate with embedded software engineers to develop architectures.Conduct hardware-in-the-loop testing.Generate product documentation including Interface Control Documents and theory of operation.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.1+ years of professional experience with Xilinx or Altera/Intel FPGA development.1+ years of professional experience with VHDL or Verilog Programming.Logic simulation experience (e.g., Vivado, Aldec, ModelSim, etc.).Additional Skills & QualificationsXilinx FPGA development experience.Xilinx RFSoC development experience.Digital circuit design experience.Experience with radar imaging and/or tracking (SAR, ISAR), RF, and electromagnetic theory.Eligibility for a US secret security clearance.Thanks!About ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
