Job Description
A client in the Englewood area is looking for a DevOps Engineer II to join their growing Joint Engineering Delivery & Integration team. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and debugging of various different tickets. As you understand the root cause of the issues, you will then be responsible for the provisioning and monitoring to make recommendations on how things can be done more effectively and efficiently, how can you alleviate latency, improve security, etc. This position is a true DevOps role, split 60% on infrastructure development and 40% support and operations. You will spend 50% of your day working on initiatives focused on version control, configuration management, and security/ compliance. You will work with full workflows within a CI CD pipeline. This organization is also spearheading a handful of new initiatives around IaaS, Security, CaaS, and many more. This is an internal facing team with a lot of opportunity to gain facetime and opportunity for new cutting-edge development with various other organizations.
Pay Range: $53-58 / hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
7+ years of Software Engineering / DevOps Engineering Experience
Experience with DevOps principles for deployment and automation (Kubernetes, GIT Lab, Ansible, Terraform)
Experience with AWS platforms (Lambda, EC2, EKS, EFS, etc.)
Experience building CI CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment and automation using
Proficiency in YAML and Helm for configuration and containerization
Experience with Linux OS as well as with VMWare in lower-level virtual environments Scripting and automation experience with Python
Knowledge / certifications in Security
Experience in a lab environment and / or supporting infrastructure groups (IaaS, CaaS)
Telecommuncations industry experience null
