Department Summary:
  • Responsible to integrate and test-run Mail Production Inserter Platforms following required processes to ensure a Quality fully functional inserter leaves the factory
Position Summary:
This is a senior specialist level, where technicians are assigned responsibilities for performing highly skilled electronical/mechanical functions. Responsibilities will include building, testing, and trouble-shooting the various modules of a given system. Applicant must have the ability to independently diagnose and complete repairs of the various modules that comprise an entire system.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide in factory integration and testing of production mail equipment. Running a pre-defined number of cycles on each system based on platform type
  • Setting up and running client specific applications as required
  • Set-up, alignment, and calibration of mechanical/electronic modules
  • Provide where needed repair, calibration, adjustment, and alignment of mechanical/electronic equipment, and validating solutions on the entire system
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics and block diagrams
  • Operation of troubleshooting instruments and software
  • Issue accredited performance reports and checklists specific to completed systems
  • Troubleshoot and Repair faults related to electronic equipment and instrumentation
  • Moving heavy modules across factory floor as needed
  • Completing required paperwork and processes for items above
  • Ability to work OT M-F and weekends as workload requires

Qualifications
Minimum:
Must have Mechanical / Electronic skillsets experience
Must have Technical Service experience working on Mail Production Inserters
Technical (troubleshooting and repair) experience required
Must be proficient in Windows operating system software
Exceptional organizational and logistical skills required to manage, build, and meet ship schedules
Highly effective defining root cause analysis and recommended fixes
Must possess excellent trouble shooting and diagnosis capabilities
Must have excellent oral and written communications capabilities
Excel software proficient
Ability to lift 30lbs.
Requires a High School Diploma
