Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
- Develop and implement FPGA designs using VHDL/Verilog.
- Perform simulation and verification of FPGA designs.
- Optimize FPGA designs for performance, area, and power consumption.
Testing and Validation:
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of FPGA designs to ensure compliance with system requirements and aerospace standards.
- Develop and execute test plans, including the creation of test benches and simulation models.
- Integrate FPGA designs with other hardware and software components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of FPGA solutions within larger systems.
- Create detailed documentation of FPGA designs, including specifications, design descriptions, and user manuals.
- Maintain version control and documentation for FPGA development projects.
- Experience with MIL-STD-1553
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in FPGA design and development.
- Experience with aerospace or defense industry projects is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in VHDL/Verilog.
- Strong understanding of digital design principles and FPGA architectures.
- Experience with FPGA development tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Altera Quartus, or similar.
- Knowledge of signal processing, high-speed interfaces, and embedded systems is desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with high-reliability designs and safety-critical applications.
- Knowledge of aerospace standards and regulations (e.g., DO-254).
- Due to U.S. Export Control laws, candidates must be US Citizens, Permanent Residents or Green Card Holders
