Weston & Sampson is hiring an Engineer with our Water Discipline with 0 to 4 years of experience in our Reading, MA office locations. The candidate will have experience in evaluation, design, and construction of public infrastructure in the northeastern United States.What you’ll do:Assist project managers with the preparation of engineering studies, design plans and specifications.Visit job sites to perform project tasks including, field tests, data gathering, field inspections, surveying and construction observation.Office work may include engineering design, data review and tabulation, data management and analysis, and preparation of technical reports.Expected to work on a variety of civil engineering projects at any given time as workload requires, but an emphasis will be placed primarily on water related projects.Willing to travel as requiredWhat you will bring:Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering with wastewater process and treatment emphasisStrong AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting and design skillsProficiency in use of Microsoft excel for data analysisStrong written and verbal communication skillsEIT Certification is a plusConstruction experience is a plusEngineering Consulting industry is a plusKnowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteA positive attitude and willingness to continue learning as new tasks are assigned and new projects are undertakeValid driver’s license required#LI-HybridOverviewWeston & Sampson is an 100% employee-owned, full-service environmental and infrastructure consulting firm made up of more than 800 professionals, who work together to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions for our clients.
