Charles P. Johnson & Associates, Inc (CPJ) seeks an energetic, highly motivated, and experienced Engineering Designer who is knowledgeable in Storm-Water Management to join our Custom Homes division in our Silver Spring, Maryland office!
Job Duties / Role
Our ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years’ experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Aides with Storm-Water and Sediment Control design for the Custom Homes and Engineering Department. Able to work effectively and collaborate between departments as a team player. Work involves analytical ability to select and recommend design procedures, analyze design requirements, and provide design solutions. Collaboration with clients and review agencies to ensure plans, documents and deadlines are completed and met in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· Knowledge of Water Resources
· Engineering on “In-Fill” lots
· Montgomery and PG County experience is preferred
· Background in Civil Engineering
· Accurate and strong attention to detail
· Knowledge of basic line drawings, architectural drawings, and landscaping plans
· Project organizational and time management skills
· Proficient in MS Office
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
