Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, has an opening for an Electrical Engineering Technician based at its Phoenix, AZ location. This position will be responsible for providing technical support to engineering and manufacturing in creating work processes, performing equipment setup, providing troubleshooting, and the testing and assembly of products.
Spang Engineered Solutions designs and manufactures custom inductive components for an array of industries. Our manufacturing locations include Pittsburgh, PA, Phoenix, AZ, and McKinney, TX in the U.S.A., and Xiamen, China.
Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Create new and revise existing process instructions according to AS9100 requirements
  • Review and mark up part prints
  • Prepare FAI reports and compile test data
  • Assist manufacturing with process setup and process improvement
  • Participate in weekly production and engineering meetings
  • Provide feedback to production scheduling as it relates to product delivery schedules
  • Implement and assist electrical testing requirements and test equipment setup
  • Perform or coordinate calibration of test equipment and hand tools
  • Participate in quality program audits and team projects

Qualifications include an associate degree in engineering technology or a technical field, along with 3-5 years of experience in a technical role in an electrical manufacturing facility.
