System Engineer / mid-level

Our client, a large automotive insurance company, is looking for a mid-level System Engineer to join their team. You'd be working closely with their senior engineer to help them maintain and do some redesign in their Windows environment.
They need someone with strong documentation skills who can help them document their infrastructure configurations, process mapping, and service records. You'd also be taking point in vendor negotiations for equipment upgrades and working with the senior engineer to help deploy their redesigns for the upgraded equipment and infrastructure. Tech wise, they need someone strong with Windows, Microsoft 365, VMware and/or Hyper-V, Entra, and Commvault.
This role is hybrid (3 days onsite) in the Dallas, Texas (Oak Lawn area). Direct hire, with a compensation ranging from $95-110K plus a 5% annual bonus depending on experience. Required Skills & Experience

• Advanced Knowledge of Windows servers and operating systems.
• Understanding of network management and network security.
• Experience mentoring more junior level engineers.
• Experience working with VMware and/or Hyper-V servers.
• Vendor negotiation experience.
• Strong documentation skills.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Windows system engineering/administration experience.
• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related or related certifications.

The Offer
