MPS is seeking an FAE Manager in our Bay Area (San Jose, CA) office. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced manager who is passionate about mentoring emerging talent and interns as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and mentor a team of emerging FAE Engineering Talent and Interns in both technical and behavioral manner.
- Role Model and lead emerging FAE talent to drive new initiatives.
- Engage with universities to understand how MPS technology can drive discussions on the evolving curriculum to match within industry standards.
- Strong understanding of power management across customer, industrial, data center/server, and network/telecom system architectures.
- Promote MPS wide portfolio of products to mass market customers.
- Understand customer roadmaps, technology, and future needs.
- Work with business units on product roadmaps, technology investments, and product planning.
- Drive design wins alongside Sales at customers and establish and cultivate relationships within and outside MPS.
- Understand the competitive landscape for customers and develop strategies to win.
Requirements :
- EE degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in design, FAE, and/or managing a Sales or Engineering team.
- Must have a passion to develop and mentor a team in a coach/role model role.
- Excellent communicator that drives and fosters a positive team dynamic.
- Design, Engineering, or System architecture experience.
- Strong problem-solving capability, strategic thinking, and commercial experience.
- Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills, self-motivated, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Capable of communicating technical concepts to a wide audience.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in California is $150,000 - $170,000.
