OverviewGovCIO is currently hiring for an AWS IAM Engineer to work on our Cloud Engineering team to manage enterprise IAM Roles and Policies. This position will be based out Hanover, MD and will be fully remote position.ResponsibilitiesThe Identity and Access Management (IAM) team seeks a highly motivated Engineer with the following specifications to lead the ongoing modernization of our critical IAM/PAM infrastructure.The IAM team is responsible for the design and implementation of various IAM technologies including Microsoft Active Directory, Federation Services, AWS Identity Center, and Privileged Access Management.This individual will serve as subject matter expert for IAM team to provide hands-on technical guidance and help with the implementation of various IAM and AWS Cloud Security tools and processes.Provide strategy, direction, and leadership in incorporating all parts of provisioning, de-provisioning, access review, and solving complex IAM related issues.Manage escalations from staff, assist in setting priorities and risk mitigation strategies across the environmentDesign, implement, manage, and engineering support for PAM/IAM backend infrastructure based on best practicesLead development and implement procedures, runbooks, and documents to support the PAM/IAM servicesSupport in troubleshooting and resolving complex identity, authentication, authorization, entitlement, permissions and integration problemsQualificationsHS Diploma with 8+ years experience/professionalClearance: SecretWill accept a SECRET clearance but must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.Required Skills and ExperienceAdvanced knowledge of modern authentications technologies and concepts such as SAML, Federation, SSO, OPenID, OAuth, Privilege Access Management (PAM), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)Must have or obtain IAT level II certification (i.e., CompTIA Security+(CE))Demonstrated experience or certifications in Linux and/or AWS GovCloud technologiesPreferred Skills and ExperienceStrong interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers and internal cross-functional teamsExperience with virtual and/or cloud based servers and applications (AWS GovCloud Specific)Excellent technical documentation and reporting skillsEffective written and oral communication skillsExperience working in an Agile environmentCertification(s) in relevant technologiesCISSP, or other IAM tool specific security certificationActive Top Secret clearanceCompany OverviewGovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
