ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing seamless user experiences as well as creating visually appealing and functional websites. You will work closely with strategists, developers, account, & project management teams to ensure cohesive design solutions that align with both user needs and business objectives


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design intuitive and engaging user experiences across web platforms by creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and site maps
  • Develop and maintain responsive web designs that provide optimal viewing experiences across devices (desktop, mobile, and tablet)
  • Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights and validate design decisions
  • Create and design web pages, landing pages, and other digital assets in line with branding and UX guidelines
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility and troubleshoot any design implementation issues
  • Perform usability tests, analyze feedback, and iterate designs to improve user experience and website performance
  • Ensure websites and web applications meet accessibility standards and SEO best practices
  • Stay current with web design trends, UX best practices, and new tools/technologies to improve design processes


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Web Design, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience as a UX Designer, Web Designer, or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing both UX and web design projects
  • Proficiency in design tools Figma, Adobe XD, or similar, as well as web design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Experience with responsive design, user-centered design principles, and wireframing/prototyping
  • Solid knowledge of SEO principles and web accessibility standards (WCAG)
  • Strong visual design skills with attention to detail, typography, and color theory
  • Ability to communicate design concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Understanding of front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (not required to code but a general understanding is a plus)
