Formal Job Title: Intermediate Full Stack Java AWS Developer

Terms: 1yr contract, will extend

Location: Malvern, PA

Work schedule details: hybrid 3 days a week onsite (must be onsite day 1)

Candidates with previous Vanguard experience are highly preferred!! Manager will prioritize those candidates first

Required Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.

Strong proficiency in Java and frameworks like Spring Boot.

Experience with front-end development using React.js or Angular, including state management, hooks, and component-based architectures.

Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway).

Solid understanding of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and deployment automation tools.

Knowledge of front-end build tools like Webpack, Babel, NPM.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (nice to have).

Knowledge of database systems, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or DynamoDB.

Cloud security best practices and knowledge of AWS IAM, VPC, and network security.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working at Vanguard
