What you will be doing
- Design, build, test, implement, maintain, and optimize VMware technologies in accordance with security policies and guidelines.
- Coordinate and work on multiple cross-functional initiatives/work groups and projects as a team leader or advisor.
- Develop and build highly complex systems that have system-wide impact, integrates across the organization, and involves multiple technical environments and disciplines and complex infrastructure solutions.
- Design and implement virtual and container environments, and hardware architecture.
- Plan and execute complex upgrades.
- Work with architecture teams on virtual firewall standards and methodology.
- Participate in workshops with other technical teams to provide guidance on the use of overlay network with Disaster Recovery.
- Work with analysts, architecture, and stakeholders to understand business needs.
- Lead the evaluation of technical requirements for projects to determine the impact to the infrastructure including equipment redundancy and capacity requirements.
- Ensure completeness of technical requirements and functional architecture analysis for the design and implementation of system business solutions.
- Determine systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.

What your background should look like
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience supporting IT and network infrastructure.
- 3 years of experience designing and implementing NSX V, including Distributed Firewall and Logical Routing; using hyper-converged infrastructure platforms; using VMware data center products including vCenter, SRM, and ESXi; designing and implementing vRealize Automation; designing and implementing HCX enterprise and Cisco UCS.
